Privacy Notice
How Sneaker Tracker handles personal data during the Cyprus private beta.
1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Sneaker Tracker, a pre-launch digital service operated from Cyprus. Contact: info@sneakertracker.eu. The operator’s formal business identity, postal address and any applicable registration or VAT details will be published before paid subscriptions are offered.
2. Data we collect
For a beta watch request, we collect your email address, sneaker name or product link, preferred EU size, optional target price, consent record, request status and submission time. We also record email-confirmation status, short-lived hashed connection tokens and, when you choose Telegram alerts, your Telegram chat identifier and connection time.
3. Why we use it
- Review, activate and administer requested sneaker watches.
- Contact you about the request and beta service.
- Deliver alerts you ask to receive.
- Protect the intake process from abuse and diagnose service failures.
- Meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases
We process beta intake data with your consent and to take steps at your request before providing the service. Essential security and operational records may be processed for our legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable service. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Sharing and processors
Data may be processed by infrastructure, database, hosting and communications providers acting for Sneaker Tracker. Telegram receives information only if you choose that alert channel. Retailers do not receive your beta intake details from us merely because their listings are monitored. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area. Where required, we use an applicable adequacy decision or contractual and organisational safeguards supplied by the provider.
7. Retention
Queued and activated beta-request records are retained while needed to administer the beta and normally for no longer than 12 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is legally required. Rejected or withdrawn requests are deleted or anonymised sooner where reasonably possible.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and applicable Cyprus law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent. Email us to exercise a right. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
9. Required information
Email, sneaker or link, size and consent are required to review a watch request. The target price is optional. Without the required information, we cannot queue the request.
10. Automated decisions
The beta intake process does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you solely by automated means.
11. Changes
We may update this notice as the beta, payments or service providers change. Material changes will be dated and communicated where appropriate.
This operational notice is designed for the current free private beta and should be reviewed by qualified Cyprus/EU counsel before paid launch.
